Our commitment

WanderEAT aims to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.2 at level AA as a minimum. We will test accessibility throughout design and development, including the core journeys of searching, discovering nearby food, receiving decision support, reading Food Source information and contributing corrections.

Accessibility features in this coming-soon site

• Semantic headings, landmarks and native form controls.
• A skip link for keyboard and screen-reader users.
• Visible keyboard focus and logical focus order.
• Text and controls designed for strong colour contrast.
• Labels, instructions and error messages for forms.
• Layouts that reflow across phones, tablets, laptops and larger screens.
• Support for browser zoom, larger text and reduced-motion preferences.
• No essential interaction that depends on a map, hover, colour or animation.
• No autoplaying audio or video.

Compatibility

The site is designed to work with current standards-based browsers, keyboard navigation, screen readers, browser zoom and operating-system accessibility settings. We also aim to keep the core experience usable on slower connections and less powerful devices.

Known limitations

The future product-search interface shown on the home page is a clearly labelled visual preview and is not yet interactive. No live search or location request is offered on the coming-soon site.

We continue to test the site. If something prevents you from accessing information or completing a form, please tell us so we can investigate and improve it.
